    Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to building Black X for everyone — and how to report barriers.

    Last Updated: June 19, 2026

    1. Our Commitment

Black X is built to be usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology. We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA across the public website and authenticated product.

    2. What We Do

    Our standing practices include:

    • Semantic HTML, proper heading hierarchy, and ARIA labels where native semantics are insufficient
    • Keyboard navigation for every interactive element; the Command Palette (⌘K) provides an alternative path to core actions
    • Visible focus states, sufficient color contrast against our dark theme, and respect for the prefers-reduced-motion media query
    • Form inputs with associated labels and clear error messages
    • Mobile-first layouts and touch targets sized for accessibility on small screens

    3. Known Limitations

Some long-form contract previews are rendered as PDFs and may not be fully accessible to screen readers. We are working on a structured text alternative. Some third-party embeds (payments checkout) are governed by their provider's accessibility implementation.

    4. Report a Barrier

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, email hello@blackx.app with the subject line "Accessibility." Describe the page, the assistive technology you use, and the issue. We aim to acknowledge within two business days and propose a remediation timeline.
